COVID-19: Virus Claims 87 Minnesota Lives in Five Days
St Paul (KROC AM News) - The coronavirus outbreak in Minnesota has now claimed the lives of at least 221 COVID-19 victims - 87 of them between last Sunday and Thursday.
For a second straight day, the Minnesota Department of Health reported 21 COVID-19 deaths on Friday - the highest daily total since the pandemic began.
One of the new deaths was reported in Olmsted County, which now has a confirmed total of six.
The number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state has risen to 3185, an increase of nearly 250 from Thursday’s total.
The number of tests has risen to nearly 54,000.
