COVID-19: Nearly 40,000 Minnesotans Have Been Tested
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Minnesota Department of Health has released its daily report on COVID-19 activity in the state and it shows an increase of nearly 50 confirmed cases and nine more deaths.
The report shows the number of confirmed cases has reached nearly 1700 and the death toll has risen to 79. No new deaths were reported Monday.
Of the confirmed cases, just over 900 patients no longer need to be in isolation.
The number of tests has increased to 39,200.
A total of 465 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalized in Minnesota to date. That’s an increase of 100 from Monday’s report. Currently, 177 remain hospitalized with 75 in intensive care.
Olmsted County’s total remains at 147 confirmed cases with 2 deaths.
