COVID-19: Minnesota Sets Record With 5200 Tests in One Day

St Paul (KROC AM News) - Some new records are included in the daily report on COVID-19 activity in Minnesota.
The number of tests in the Wednesday report is the highest-to-date for a 24-hour period at more than 5,200. The number of positive cases in the report is just over 700, a new record.
The report also includes a new daily high of 30 deaths. The death toll now stands at 485. Nearly 400 of the total involved residents of nursing homes/assisted living facilities.
The state has now completed more than 93,000 tests and the number of positive cases is approaching 8600.
