St Paul (KROC AM News) - Another 5,000 COVID-19 tests have been reported in Minnesota.

The state Health Department Saturday reported the number of tests has risen to 106,263 from Friday’s total.

The report shows 700 more positive cases have been confirmed, raising that total to 10,790.

The report also shows the virus has claimed the lives of 24 more Minnesotans, raising the state’s death toll to 558. Of the total, 449 were residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Another Rochester long-term care facility has reported a confirmed case involving an employee or resident. Arbor Terrace is the 6th in the city to confirm a positive case.

Olmsted County's total of confirmed cases has risen to 363.
