It's been a manic Monday here! Finally getting around to bringing you today's country music history.
1959 Randy Traywick was born in Monroe, North Carolina. As Randy Travis, he recorded such giant hits as "Forever and Ever, Amen", and "On The Other Hand".
1991 Travis Tritt made his Grand Ole Opry debut.
1993 "No Fences" by Garth Brooks is the first country album certified for shipment of ten million copies.
2004 "Horse of a Different Color", Big and Rich's debut album, is released by Warner Brothers.
