Syttende Mai marks Norwegian Constitution Day, signed May 17, 1814.  Syttende Mai in Norwegian language literally means "seventeenth May".  No matter the correct definition, in Spring Grove it means "party time"!  Friday evening attend the "Blast Off Banquet" at the Fest Building.  Live DJ's will be on the scene at Spring Grove Legion and Norski's Saloon.

Plan to spend the entire day in Spring Grove on Saturday enjoying such events as basketball shoot, Giants Academy, Norwegian Ridge Birding and Nature Trail tours, quilt show, kids' pedal pull, Toff Norsk competition, fire department challenge and the grand parade at 1:30.

Mutton bustin' for the kids begins at ten Sunday morning.  Visit the Bluff Country Artist Gallery and finish up the weekend at Spring Grove Legion with live music by Cat and the Fiddle.

Complete schedule of events available at www.sgsyttendemai.com.  Oh, and watch for our own Devon Krueger milling about town on Saturday morning!  Have fun this weekend in Spring Grove during the Syttende Mai celebration!
