Car Found Burning in Rochester Garage

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester firefighters were called out just before midnight Tuesday to take care of a car fire.
It was located in a garage at an apartment complex at 1506 10th Ave. SE, near Mayo High School.
Crews arrived to find fire and heavy smoke coming from the detached garage. They also found a resident at the complex was battling the blaze with a small fire extinguisher.
RFD says there was heavy fire damage to the vehicle and minor smoke and water damage to the garage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
