Halloween is a spooktacular, fun time for little ones.  Follow these tips to make trick-or-treating safe for your children.  When picking a costume, avoid long, billowy fabric that your child could trip on.  If he/she is wearing a mask, be sure the eye holes are large enough to see out.  Use flashlights or glow sticks, not candles, to light their way.  Use battery-operated candles in jack-o-lanterns.  For more Halloween safety tips, visit www.nfpa.org/education.  Photo credit Vstock LLC.
