On December 8th you can be one of the first people to experience Skate the Star at the Mall of America!

MOA recently announced that they'll be opening up an outdoor ice rink from December 8th until January 27th. The rink is 12,000 square feet and is a circle around the MOA star (hence the name, Skate the Star) with an awesome warming station in the middle so you don't get too cold!

Skating is free! If you bring your own skates, that is. But if you need to rent some skates they have that available, it's really cheap (only $5!), and 100% of the sales will go to The Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities!

The rink will be open during select hours that you can check out HERE along with a mock-up of what the rink will look like!

Of course, you need to sign a waiver before you skate and kids under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign.

What a great way to take a break from all of the crazy holiday shopping!
