Miranda Lambert has long had a heart for music, but her heart for animals might bleed even more. The country superstar's MuttNation Foundation placed 56 dogs in loving homes during CMA Fest 2018.

What makes this even cooler is the fact that the country music fans who decided to make the commitment to bring these adorable doggies into their homes actually named many of them after their favorite stars! So there are now canine versions of Luke Bryan, George Strait, Keith Urban and, of course, Miranda Lambert.

How cool is that?

While not everyone who attended CMA Fest could bring a dog home with them, they were reminded by the sheer presence of MuttNation Foundation that there is always something you can do to help the cause, including volunteering at their local shelters and fostering animals within their own community. Since it was founded in 2009 by Lambert and her mom, Bev, MuttNation Foundation has helped thousands of dogs find loving homes across the country. Through the years, MuttNation has also been on hand to help transport dogs out of natural disaster zones and into safe areas until the storms blew through, including in Lambert's home state of Texas, the coast of which was ravaged by Harvey in 2017.

Of course, MuttNation Foundation’s job is never done, and neither is Lambert's. She's packing up to head out on the Bandwagon Tour with Little Big Town next month. It's not clear which of her dogs, if any, will join her — she has at least a half a dozen of her own.
