2 People Injured in Separate Crashes in Southeast Minnesota
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is reporting two injury crashes occurred in the region last night and this morning.
A 43-year-old Rushford woman was hurt late last night when the Jeep she was driving collided with a deer. The State Patrol says the incident occurred around 11:30 PM on eastbound I-90 near the Lewiston exit. Tory Laumb was transported to the hospital in Winona with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
The second crash was reported just before 7 o'clock this morning in Wabasha County. The State Patrol says 55-year-old Justin Mausser of Medelia was driving west on Highway 60 just east of Mazeppa when his pickup collided with a semi-truck, which was also headed west. Mausser was brought to St. Marys Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, while the driver of the semi-truck was not hurt.
