It is very unfortunate news, but Vikings Wide Receiver Michael Floyd test positive for alcohol while under house arrest. It is tough news for Vikings fans, as the hometown kid signed with the team one month ago.

According to USA Today,  Floyd is due back in court June 26th for "non-compliance of high alcohol test."

The Vikings are aware of the situation.

Floyd was originally arrested on a DUI charge last year during the 2016 season.

Another interesting update was that Floyd, reportedly, had no idea of the TMZ report, and called it false, per Brian Murphy at the Pioneer Press.

The Scottsdale City Court did confirm that Floyd was due back in court, so it is interesting to see where this story goes. Stay tuned for updates.

If the Vikings do end up dropping Floyd, it would make sense for them to try and sign Eric Decker, and I am sure those rumors will start to ramp up as this story unfolds.
