Tonight on KFIL, the Twins take on Kansas City at 6:30.  Tune in to 103.1 for all the action!

In 1944, pitcher Joe Nuxhall of the Reds was the youngest player in major league history, being just fifteen years, ten months old.  He pitched one-third inning, giving up five walks and two hits before being taken out of the game.

In 1975, Army Day was observed by the NY Yankees at their temporary location at Shea Stadium.  During the 21-gun ceremonial salute, glass splintered, the park was filled with smoke and part of a fence was set on fire.
