The 3 Most Tissue Worthy, Heartwarming Rochester Stories of 2017
Everybody loves a happy ending that pulls at the heart-strings! Well these stories certainly did just that this past year.
There were certainly more than these in 2017, and it was tough to narrow it down to just three... however, I can remember it getting just a little "dusty" in the studio when ever I saw or read these for the first time:
A 16-year-old boy who had been staying at the Ronald McDonald House here in Rochester did something so simple, and so incredible this summer to "pay them back"... and because of his efforts, even Mayor Ardell Brede caught notice and showed his appreciation to young Seth Bayles!
Amy Ciezran-Shaw's cancer treatment was going well so she thought she'd have no problem making it to her daughter's wedding in November... unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. But not before a small group of nurses at the Mayo Clinic stepped up BIG time.
Ellen DeGeneres granted a Minnesota family some holiday cheer this fall, after the mother unselfishly gave her son a powerful gift.
