Caledonia, MN (KROC AM News) - A southern Minnesota man was seriously injured in a freak accident while driving a motorcycle in rural Houston County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 66-year-old John Huston of Wells was driving near Caledonia when his shirt began caught in the rear brake. The brake suddenly locked and Huston was thrown from the motorcycle and suffered life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol says he was not wearing a helmet.

The wreck happened around 5:00 PM Saturday on Highway 76, which is a popular road for motorcyclists.
