Last night, KFIL Sports broadcasted the girl's basketball game between Houston and Lanesboro. The Hurricanes used a 17-2 first half run to take a 15-point lead into halftime. After a short run by Lanesboro to start the second half, the 'Canes pulled away again for a final score of 52-38.

The “Player of the Game” awards went to Kelly Jerviss of the Hurricanes, who matched a career high of 30 points, and had her 6th straight double-double with 11 rebounds, and Cassidy Ruud of the Burros with a team-high 15 points and 4 steals.

The “Game Ball” was awarded to Anna Sweet of the Hurricanes (10 pts, 4 assists, 4 steals).
