It has been a week since Jayme Closs was found alive near Gordon and officials are still trying to figure out what to do with the reward money.

Peter and Kristin Kasinskas are the couple that had the surprise of Jayme Closs showing up at their house after a neighbor, Jeanne Nutter, ran into to Jayme while walking her dog. They quickly called 911 and kept Jayme safe until law enforcement arrived.

The Kasinskas' say that they are not interested in the reward, they told the Associated Press that Jayme should get the reward because "She got herself out.”

The FBI offered a $25,000 reward and the Jennie-O Turkey Store, where Jayme's parents worked, doubled the amount to $50,000.

The Star Tribune is reporting that both the FBI and the Barron County Sheriff say the reward is under review.

The money should absolutely go to Jayme and help with her recovery and make sure that she has the opportunity to go to college or do whatever she wants to do with her life.
