Country Music History September 21

Half-way through the work week, folks!
Singer of the very popular 1962 hit, "Patches", Dickey Lee was born September 21, 1941 in Memphis.  Lee also penned hits for country stars including George Strait "Let's Fall To Pieces Together".
Tim McGraw's wife, the beautiful Faith Hill, was born in 1967 in Jackson, Mississippi.  Faith and Tim have been married since 1996.
In 1977, Nashville named its minor league baseball team the Nashville Sounds.  Team  owners include Conway Twitty, Richard Sterban of The Oak Ridge Boys, and Jerry Reed.
Poor Willie.  In 1990, the IRS placed liens in the amount of $16.7 million on Willie Nelson's property to guarantee that he will pay back taxes in the amount of six point five million.
