Country Music History September 18

Happy birthday wishes today go out to Tae Dye born September 18, 1995 in Oklahoma.  Tae is member of the duo Maddie and Tae who had the blockbuster hit last year with "Girl In A Country Song".

Way back in 1947 for a mere $3.50, you could attend a country show at Carnegie Hall in New York City and watch performances by Ernest Tubb, Minnie Pearl and more.

The Billboard charts for today found "Ain't Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up" by Garth Brooks at the #1 position in 1993.  And in 2004, the #1 spot was occupied by Keith Urban's "Days Go By".
