Country Music History October 24

Today's a HUGE day for high school football on KFIL, but that doesn't mean we don't have time to share a little country music history!

Country stars once again performed the national anthem at World Series games.  In 2014, Little Big Town game 3 in San Francisco.  Kansas City won 3-2.  And in 2002, LeAnn Rimes did the honor once again in San Francisco.  The Giants beat the Angels by a large margin, 16-4.

In 2010, Jimmy Dean was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The Billboard chart in 1992 revealed Wynonna to be in the #1 spot with "No One Else On Earth".
