Hello friends!  There are a lot of things to talk about today!

Famous for her signature song "The Tennessee Waltz", Patti Page was born in 1927 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
American Idol competitor, Bucky Covington, was born in Rockingham, North Carolina in 1977.  His first single was a hit - "A Different World", released in 2007.

In 2009, Dolly Parton, Kid Rock, Ernest Tubb and Charlie Daniels were inducted into Nashville's Music City Walk of Fame.

Looking at the Billboard chart, the #1 country single in 1980 was "On The Road Again" by Willie Nelson.  "Did I Shave My Legs For This" by Deana Carter was #1 in 1996, and in 2003 it was Keith Urban and "Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me".
