"Roll On Big Mama" singer Joe Stampley was born June 6, 1943 in Springhill, Louisiana.

Also born on June 6 in the year 1974, Matthew Shafer, stage name Uncle Kracker.  Unc joined Kenny Chesney in 2001 on a huge hit "When The Sun Goes Down".

"Con Air" premiered in theaters in 1997.  The movie featured "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd and "How Do I Live" by Trisha Yearwood.

In 1970, Conway Twitty and "Hello Darlin'" reach #1 on the Billboard country singles chart.

And finally, in 1981, Travis Tritt graduated from high school.
