Country Music History June 29

We're half-way to the long weekend, folks!

Let's take a look at the Billboard country singles chart for June 29.  1968 the #1 spot was held by Tammy Wynette and "D-I-V-O-R-C-E"; while in 1974 it was Mickey Gilley and "Room Full Of Roses".
The Cubs were playing the Brewers at Chicago's Wrigley Field in 2005 and Joe Nichols sang "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch.  Cubs won 3-2.
Tom T. Hall and The Statler Brothers were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008.
