In 1961, the great Patsy Cline was injured in a head-on collision in Nashville.  Two passengers in the other vehicle died.  Cline sustained a dislocated hip and cut on her forehead.

Linda Ronstadt's remake of "When Will I Be Loved", originally recorded by the Everly Brothers, reaches #1 on the Billboard country singles chart in 1975.  "Beer For My Horses" by Toby Keith and Willie Nelson is #1 in 2003.

Love and marriage!  In 2003, Josh Turner married his sweetheart, Jennifer Ford, in Georgia.  And in 2008, Sara Evans married sports radio host Jay Barker in Franklin, Tennessee.

Hank Williams, Jr., played the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth in 1997.  He brought on stage five-year-old Hunter Hayes who sang "Jambalaya (On The Bayou)".
