The one and only Johnny Cash made his Grand Ole Opry debut at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville in 1956.  This was also the first time that Johnny met his future wife, June Carter.
Maddie & Tae member, Maddie Marlow, was born in 1995 in Sugar Land, Texas.
The Billboard country singles chart in 1973 showed the #1 spot to be held by Kris Kristofferson and "Why Me".  Montgomery Gentry and "Lucky Man" were #1 in 2007.

And Sunday Rose Kidman Urban was born in 2008 to Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman.
