"Daddy Sang Bass" was recorded in 1968 by Johnny Cash at Columbia Recording Studios in Nashville.  Written by Carl Perkins, the song featured Jan Howard and The Statler Brothers.

"Dirt Road Anthem" by Jason Aldean was #1 on the country Billboard charts in 2011.

And in 2012, Kline Olivia Diaz was born to her parents Eli Young Band vocalist Mike Eli and his wife Kacey.
