Country Music History January 30

Football and country music - nothing's more American!  In 2000 in Atlanta, Faith Hill sang the national anthem before Super Bowl XXXIV.  The St. Louis Rams beat the Tennessee Titans 23-16.

Also in Atlanta in 1994, the big game halftime show featured Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, Clint Black and The Judds.  Final score - Cowboys 30, Bills 13.

And Tammy Cochran was born January 30, 1970 in Ohio.  Tammy had a mega-hit in 2001 with a ballad she wrote about her two brothers who passed away from cystic fibrosis "Angels In Waiting".
