Country Music History January 28

Hello, country music fans!  Here we are again taking a quick look at memorable events for today's date in country music history.

Looking at the Billboard chart, in 1995 the country single was my favorite, Alan Jackson, and "Gone Country".  While in 1989, it was Randy Travis and "Deeper Than The Holler".

"We Are The World" is recorded in 1985 by USA for Africa featuring Kim Carnes, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Willlie Nelson, and Kenny Rogers just to name a few.  A total of 45 artists recorded the epic record.
