Country Music History January 19
Everyone loves Dolly!! The bubbly, talented, happy, one-one-and-only Dolly Parton was born January 19, 1946 in Tennessee.
One of the Everly Brothers, Phil Everly, was born in 1939. Phil and his brother, Don, had a fantastic career, recording such hits as "Wake Up Little Susie" and "Bye, Bye Love". They were members of both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
On the country singles Billboard chart in 1974, we find "I Love" by Tom T. Hall; and in 1963 Lester Flatts and Earl Scruggs' "The Ballad of Jed Clampett".
