Country Music History January 14

Today's temperatures look a little warmer, almost balmy!  Enjoy them while you can.  Another cold snap is on the horizon.  But, it's Minnesota after all, right?!

Music producer T Bone Burnett was born January 14, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri.  Burnett produced many albums and sound tracks throughout his career, including the sound track to "O Brother, Where Art Thou?".

Looking at the Billboard singles chart, in 2006 we find George Strait and "She Let Herself Go", and in 1995, "Not A Moment Too Soon" by Tim McGraw.

Back in 2009, "Good Directions" by Billy Currington received gold single status.  Did you know Luke Bryan wrote "Good Directions"?  I didn't know that until now!
