Country Music History February 18

Hang in there, folks.  It's almost the weekend.  Here's some country music history to keep you entertained today.

One of my favorite female country/pop singers, and a very talented lady, Juice Newton was born February 18, 1952 with the given name Judy Kay Newton.  Juice's voice and singing style is very distinct and evident on "Angel Of The Morning" and "Queen of Hearts".

In 2012, Gretchen Wilson and Big & Rich were participants in the New Orleans Mardi Gras parade.  That must have been one big party!
