In 1982 on December 8, country music lost one of its great ones.  Country Music Hall of Fame member probably best known for "El Paso", Marty Robbins died of a heart attack in Nashville.

"Mud On The Tires" by Brad Paisley is certified gold in 2003.

Shenandoah lead singer, Marty Raybon, was born December 8, 1959 in Alabama.
