August 7, 1925 songwriter Felice Bryant was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Along with her husband, Boudleaux Bryant, the couple wrote many country hits including "Hole In My Pocket" sung by Ricky Van Shelton, and "Rocky Top" made famous by The Osborne Brothers.

"Shame On The Moon" singer, Rodney Crowell was born in 1950 in Houston, Texas.  His album "Diamond and Dirt" produced five #1 singles in the late 1980's.  Crowell was married to singer Rosanne Cash from 1979 to 1992.

And in 1961, Patsy Cline had a #1 Billboard country single with "I Fall To Pieces".
