Happy Thursday, gang!  There isn't much to report today, so before getting started I'll pass on a reminder about our Fall Sports Preview tonight at 6 p.m. on KFIL, the free RadioPup App and on line at kfilradio.com.

All rightie, on to music!  Singer of the mega, mega hit "Achy Breaky Heart", Billy Ray  Cyrus was born August 25, 1961 in Flatwoods, Kentucky.  You'll also remember Cyrus from the TV shows "Doc" and "Hannah Montana".

Also born today, "My Give A Damn's Busted" singer, Jo Dee Messina in Holliston, Massachusetts.  Jo Dee released her first album in 1996 and won the CMA Horizon Award in 1999.

Chuck Wicks made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2007 singing "Stealing Cinderella".  And in 1979, Charlie Daniels  Band is #1 on the Billboard country singles chart with "The Devil Went Down To Georgia".
