Today marks the birthdate of Grand Ole Opry member, John Conlee, born in Kentucky in 1946.  John's biggest hit is "Rose Colored Glasses".  Did you know that before entering the country music scene, John worked as a radio DJ and also as a mortician.

"Hey, Good Lookin" by Hank Williams is the #1 Billboard single in 1951.

One of my favorite singers, Eddie Rabbit, is #1 on the Billboard singles chart in 1979 with "Suspicions".

And in 2001, "Austin" becomes Blake Shelton's very first #1 Billboard single.
