Country Music History April 7

Winding down another work week.  Will we see sunshine for the weekend?

Country Music Hall of Fame member Bobby Bare was born April 7, 1935 in Ohio.  Bare earned kudos for great classics like "500 Miles Away From Home" and "Detroit City".

Shania Twain does it again!  In 1999, her "Come On Over" album achieved shipments over ten million copies.  Wow!  She was the first country female artist to have two albums achieve that status.

Performing at a concert in Vero Beach, Florida in 2012, Jake Owen proposed to his girlfriend, Lacey Buchanan.  Of course, she said "yes"!
