Country Music History April 30

Is it fall or is it spring?  That's the true question today!  "North To Alaska" singer, Johnny Horton, was born April 30, 1925 in Los Angeles.  Horton loved making those historical songs and also recorded "Sink the Bismarck" and "The Battle of New Orleans".

"Single White Female" songwriter, Carolyn Dawn Johnson was born in 1971.  She had a big solo hit in 2001 with "Complicated".

Did you know Dwight Yoakam could act?  In 1997 he appeared on the TV sitcom "Ellen" portraying a grocery store clerk.
