"The Legend Of Bonnie and Clyde" sung by a country legend, Merle Haggard, sits in the #1 position on the Billboard country singles chart in 1968.

Highway 83 in Monticello, Georgia was renamed Trisha Yearwood Parkway in 2001.  Yearwood formerly lived in Monticello.

And in 2008, Emmylou Harris was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
