Shania Twain is quite a gal, no doubt. In 1999, she was the first woman named Songwriter/Artist of the Year in the Nashville Songwriter Achievement Awards. What an honor!
In 2015, Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum had quite a scare. Her tour bus caught fire on the way to Dallas. Hillary and three other passengers all escaped injuries but their stage outfits were destroyed. Talk about a close, scary call.
My favorite, Alan Jackson,in 2010 received the honor of receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His star is located at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard. I must get out there some day to see it!
And finally, in 1969 Johnny Cash taped the first episode of his ABC-TV series "Hello...I'm Johnny Cash" . Johnny opened the show singing "Folsom Prison Blues".
