Triton Baseball Season Ends Saturday
Caledonia third baseman junior Even Densted worked the count even and on the seventh pitch of his at bat stroked a single to left field scoring the only run of the game. Triton had six strikeouts looking in the two games and 14 total.
Rochester Lourdes Softball Pitcher Throws Perfect Game
Senior Right handed Lourdes pitcher Abbey Gapinski threw a perfect game while striking out 11 of the 15 batters she faced. Gapinski threw 67 pitches, 48 strikes with six of the strikeouts looking.
Lakeville North Edged by Moorhead for Class AA Speech Title

Cannon Falls Team Wins Third Straight Class A Speech Title

Rushford-Peterson Boys Basketball Coach Resigns
Vix led the Trojans to state titles in 1989, 2005 and 2006 and two state runner-up finishes. His teams made 16 state tournament appearances including this past season. His career winning percentage of 75 percent is among the all-time best in Minnesota boys basketball.

The Minnesota State Patrol says William Matthew Blose was heading west about four miles west of Kenyon and crossed the center line at Jenkins Avenue in Richland Township, Rice County hitting a eastbound semi.
