Two people are dead after a pickup truck hit a horse-drawn buggy from behind in Stearns County.

According to CBS Minnesota, the pickup truck was driven by a 23-year-old man from Avon, Minnesota, was traveling on County Road 9 south of Queens Road when the pickup truck struck the horse-drawn buggy. Killed in the crash were a 72-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman. The horse was also killed in the crash.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the crash and no other information is available at this time.
