Court records indicate the investigation determined three men allegedly fired guns during the confrontation in SE Rochester.

He was ordered to prison earlier this year for a murder in Minneapolis that occurred after he was released on bail following his arrest for the fatal shooting in northwestern Minnesota.

Officers were dispatched to the reports of gunfire in the 800 block of 16th Ave. Southeast around 6:20 Tuesday night.

One apartment building and one vehicle were struck by the gunfire.

The gunfire was reported shortly after 6 PM.

Officials said Sunday afternoon the threat against mall employees, shoppers and residents in the area had subsided.

The tragic incident occurred on a Highway in the Fairmont area last October.

The shooting occurred on Tuesday night and the suspect was apprehended about 24 hours later.

Two vehicles and the exterior of an apartment building were hit by the bullets, according to the police report.
