An Olmsted County Judge issued the ruling three days after the one year anniversary of the death of 18-year-old Olivia Flores.

A second man was accused of participating in the assault, but those charges have been dismissed.

The court document indicates the alleged assailant and victim know each other.

He was charged in the case in February of 2024.
