The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court earlier this week, says the case stems from a controlled buy conducted by the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office.

Rochester police conducted the controlled buy earlier this month and executed the search warrant last week.

It was determined that the fentanyl had been smuggled into the facility by an individual hiding the drugs deep into a body cavity.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office made the drug bust late last year, according to the court document. Authorities executed a search warrant on December 1 at a home in northeast Rochester.

He was on probation for a drug conviction at the time of his arrest.

The case stems from a law enforcement-arranged controlled drug buy.

The woman is accused of being involved in the abduction of the victim and with trying to get him to recant his statement to police.

The court document says a Rochester police officer caught the suspect at the scene shortly before 11:30 Saturday night.

He has previous felony convictions for burglary and drug possession.

In addition to a significant amount of fentanyl, authorities reported finding over $10,000 in cash.
