Saluting Area Farmers During Farm Safety Week

September 20 through 26 is Farm Safety Week.  KFIL will be broadcasting informational programming all week including public service announcements from the University of Minnesota and Fillmore County Sheriff, Tom Kaase.  Topics covered include road safety, physical stress, equipment safety, child safety on the farm, grain handling safety and more.  KFIL would like to thank all of the wonderful sponsors who make Farm Safety Week programming possible.  And of course, huge thanks for all of the farmers in our area who work so hard all year long.  Best wishes for a safe, prosperous harvest!
