An 8-year-old girl from Big Lake, MN, Serenity Boike, raised over $1,100 for her bereaved neighbors this weekend. How did she do it? With a lemonade, cookie, and bracelet stand.

Bring Me the News says that "two months ago, two boys aged 1 and 2 were killed in a fire that authorities believe was started by their father, who also died from his injuries." The money that Serenity raised will go towards the other two surviving boys and their mother.

Her original fundraising goal was $500 but the Big Lake Police Department says she has now raised over $1,100. She told KARE 11 that she's thinking about making her new goal $2,000 or $5,000.
