Parents with young children have probably been wondering, for some time now, what Christmas is going to look like this year. COVID cases continue to skyrocket which has led to the cancelation of some annual attractions like the Kiwanis Holiday Lights.

We do now there are several things you can do with your family to get into the holiday spirit like Sam's Christmas Village which has over 6-million lights on display, Valleyfair is hosting a drive-thru light parade, and the Festival of Trees has been adapted but is still happening this year.

What about Santa? Well, ABC Toy Zone is still finalizing the details but has confirmed that Santa will be making an appearance. The Apache Mall will also have Santa. The Mall says they will implement additional safety measures which will include cleaning more often, hand sanitizer, and social distancing guidance.

It doesn't look like kids will be allowed on Santa's lap at the Mall though. Their website describes in-person visits as "contactless" and they do say your child and Santa will be required to keep their mask on at all times. Virtual visits are also an option and include a story from Mrs. Claus.

Sam's Christmas Village

Sam's Christmas Village will be open to the public from November 27th - January 2nd.  Get more info here. Below you'll see the 'Winter Lights' attraction which is unfortunately sold out for 2020. Take a peek because you'll definitely want to go next year!
