While there have been no reported illnesses or injuries at this time, it's worth noting that the recall is centered around faulty pod packaging. The word is, ink on the pod might leak into the coffee when brewed due to inconsistent seals.

Sold Nationwide, Including Illinois Retailers Like Walmart and Target

The ink-dripping pods were sold at Target, Walmart, and Costco, affecting locations in Illinois and every state in America. Check the "best by" date of May 8, 2026, to see if your coffee pods have been recalled.

What to Do If You Bought the Recalled Coffee Pods

If you did buy them, New Mexico Pinon Coffee says to return the pods for a refund or to pitch them in the trash.
