Who Are Penn and Teller?
Penn and Teller are a duo that combines magic and comedy into a show that people have loved for years. They had an award-winning PBS show called "Penn & Teller Go Public'. They've also been featured on many other well-known shows like 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch', 'The Simpsons', and 'Bill Nye the Science Guy'.
There have also been plenty of late show appearances over the years and, of course, their Vegas shows.
But it all began on a small stage in Minnesota...

Where Did Penn and Teller Get Their Start?
It all started at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival! On August 19th, 1975 Penn and Teller took the stage for the very first time together at Ren Fest. Penn would have been 20 and Teller would have been 27 at the time.
People loved what they did at Ren Fest so much that the rest is history! But now it's all coming back to where it started this summer for one day only.
Penn and Teller Performing at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival
Yes, Penn and Teller will be performing at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival yet again in honor of their 50th anniversary. They will only be performing on Saturday, August 16th but no word on what time(s) or what stage yet.
I'm not sure if there's a limited number of tickets for each day at Ren Fest but if there isn't I bet it's going to be a madhouse that day.
That's just so cool that they're coming back to where it all started. I feel like there are a lot of celebrities who wouldn't do that so this feels really special!
