It's been a minute since I’ve been to one of Minnesota’s casinos, but I follow a few on social media and get a little rush whenever I see them post about big winners. I can't imagine how exciting it is to be on the floor when a major jackpot is won.

Slots are the most popular way to gamble in casinos because you don’t need any skill, and there’s always the chance to win big. According to Fortune Magazine, slot machines in the U.S. brought in over $35 billion in revenue in 2023.

I have tried slot machines before, but hammering a button over and over gets pretty boring for me. Maybe I should try them again because all the big wins I see always seem to come from slot machines.

Minnesota has 20 casinos, and the slot areas are usually the busiest areas in these buildings, packed with people around the bright, noisy machines.

Some of the biggest casinos in Minnesota include Mystic Lake, Treasure Island, Grand Casino Hinckley, Black Bear Casino, and Grand Casino Mille Lacs.

Mystic Lake, found at 2400 Mystic Lake Blvd NW in Prior Lake, is the largest casino in the state. It has 4,000 slot machines, 100 blackjack tables, and a bunch of great bars and restaurants. It’s open 24/7 and recently celebrated another round of jackpot winners.
